#ProjectAfrica Day 36: 51.2km
Staring at my shoes after lunch break thinking there is nothing I want to do less than get on that tarmac right now. There must be another way. Thought about it intensely. Concluded there was no other way. Back on road.
Dragged myself through it like a stroppy teenager. Done a vicious roadside poo that Harry described as “an abomination to mankind”. @cameramanstan_ said “there’s no way that came out of a human”. Chaotic scenes for everyone involved.
Scrambled my pathetic self together and got about it until sunset. Back to a lodge that was very kindly set up for us. Namibian hospitality remains undefeated🇳🇦 My immune system on a run of KO defeats. We move🫡

In 5 weeks I start my World Record attempt to run the entire length of Africa🌍🏃♂️
In this thread I’ll break down exactly what that entails and how I’m going to do it 🧵⬇️
Wednesday.
Midweek.
Step it up.
Simple but consistent actions is all that is needed.
Don’t need to overcomplicate a simple process.
Daily actions, lead to daily results.
How long can you keep showing up?
Whoever shows up the longest gets the reward.
Secure the day.
