I'm 63 years old.

Six months ago I answered a series of questions from an AI about skills I had never fully utilized. It began with this question:

'When you look back over the past 5 years, what specific skill, talent, or achievement do others consistently praise you for — but that you've quietly dismissed as not that special or just something I do?'

One question led to another. Then another. By the 7th question my world opened up with possibilities I'd never considered: producing animated videos for children using AI.

Deep in my heart I knew it was the right call. I jumped into the deep end.

I'm now Creative Director at @BelieveStudiosX — and we have a theatrical release on the horizon. The AI anticipated something I did not.

When I embraced this new path in October 2025 @GrokImagine had just launched their very first video generator version. I've been building with it ever since. My journey is fully underway. And I'm just getting started.

p.s. I often think about how my 8-year-old self would be “geeking out” over this job I now have. Who could have guessed life would bring me to this place? 😎

One thing I love about the advances in technology is the ability to recover past memories and pull them into videos that are meaningful. I created this video with references to travels my husband and I have taken to Egypt, Turkey, Israel, Malta, Spain and other places, along with memories of work and friends stateside.

@minchoi Have you noticed changes to your Grok Imagine outputs lately? I’ve seen a serious decline in quality and performance, and it’s concerning as we are in the thick of making an animated project.

I’ve noticed a significant downgrade in performance, physics, and motion in @Imagine both on the desktop and mobile in the past week, to the point that our outputs are completely unusable.

I’ve been an early adopter and enthusiast for @Grok Imagine since the product launched. Currently, though, our animation project will have to pivot if we want to stay on schedule. I’m hopeful the upgrade will resolve these issues.

I’ve been using this platform exclusively since its debut in October last year, and now our team is on track to create and release a fully ai animated holiday theatrical release for kids and families this year.

Just a few more upgrade implementations—especially with audio uploads, lip sync and DCP requirements—and we’ll be golden. Appreciate all your hard work. 🙌

Small improvements to Imagine are happening frequently. Looks like we need another few weeks of training for Imagine 2.0, which will have major upgrades in speech/audio and face/details consistency.

If I could make an appeal to @grok @imagine for just one feature to be included in the upgrade next week, it would be for a 21:9 option on video gen outputs. The process of using black bars to crop out usable footage for widescreen theatrical releases is sub-optimal.
