Prize Giving Day 🏆 ALL children were praised and rewarded with a fun and bouncy castle time for their hard work and goodness in everything they do. Some special awards for Kindness and Citizenship, Growth Mindset, Sportsmanship and Bikability, Music and Performance and more⭐️
I have been trying to get this lot to do maths all day!!!! But for some reason…. They just want to play on pose on the bouncy castles! Well done Ordi-Stars on a successful year! You all truly deserve the fun treats coming your way this week ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
@EducEndowFoundn@tes As a teacher now, who struggled to learn as a child, I think learning styles play a huge part in how some children learn and how well they succeed… I think my success as a teacher now is how I can adapt my teaching to the needs and preferred learning style of individuals.
@MisstahCook As a teacher now who struggled as a child being taught the ‘normal’ way… I think learning styles have a huge impact on learners and what they retain and how well they succeed 😀
@glasclo@drewburrett @MisterHBrown Just giving teachers the support staff in primary classes would help! 33 kids, increasing needs and behaviour difficulties and no support staff. Keeping children safe is our main goal of the day… teaching them to read, write and count is a happy bonus some days!
@drewburrett Stop increasing class sizes, increasing the level of needs in those classes and taking away all support staff and SfL teaching hours… then maybe more kids could read, write and count like they were able to back in early 2000’s when I started teaching!!!!!
Well done to our pupils, they all took part in the family church service this morning. Well done and keep up the good work, without people who are willing to contribute to community events, there are no community events! Everyone appreciates your service to the community. 🤩
After several weeks at the top spot, Squad Reynolds were knocked down at the last hurdle! Squad Da Vinci claimed the top spot as winners of Term 3 - well done! 🙌
@AlisonHammond We all sing, clap, inner diva to ourselves at the musicals we go and see, sometimes we are meant to sing and dance along loudly , it is planned audience participation, the behaviour reported deserves an ASBO, no one in right mind would stand up and ruin a solo… but common now. X

@DanielleSteers @laurapick91 I think it depends though… musicals like The Body Guard and Mamma Mia the ending is for getting up and belting along with the cast… but why would anyone think it was okay to stand up and belt out ‘I have nothing’ … you just wouldn’t … Time and place for everything ❤️
I made my own island too called Wezbur Cove Island …. Basically spent the whole day drawing with the kids … sometimes you need a day where you just get to be a kiddy doing kiddy jobs too… We were also signing along to Kidz Bop! 🎶 😂 Was a magic day!
It was all about weather broadcasting today in P3/4. Lots of creative work as the children created their own Islands to report on and then they used the green screen to present their islands behind them as they talked about the weather. ⛈🌧🌥☁️🌨🌦🌤☀️
P3/4 Click below to practise your music lessons for this week, go back over previous weeks learning too. Remember to complete your weather watch activity too. Head to google classroom to access more learning opportunities.https://t.co/GxPl7CmCMJ
Love teaching writing, but to see my own little man this happy with his work 😍 Not often I speak to myself like this but… Well done Mrs Wezbur! 🤩 And well done littlest Wezbur ❤️ Proud teacher & Proud Mum! ❤️🤩
It was a day all about weather today! We set up our weather investigations and learnt how to record our findings … We then wrote some stories about going for a walk in Scotland and experiencing all 4 seasons in one day! Watch this space for our ebook of Scottish Walk Stories 🤩
Busy in Project/Theme Based Learning today coming up with a class plan on how to record the weather. P3/4 worked in small groups first to come up with a plan to meet success criteria. Each group presented to whole class and then we made a whole class plan together. 🤩
