Shivambu removed as MK party secretary general over Malawi trip and met with fugitive pastor Bushiri

Floyd Shivambu has been removed from his role as secretary general of the MK Party following a controversial trip to Malawi, which the party claims violated its constitution.

His visit sparked backlash after he met with self-proclaimed prophet Shepard Bushiri, who is wanted by South African authorities.

Shivambu, who left the EFF to join the MK Party last year, will now serve the party as a Member of Parliament.
