@AHamilton_51 I disagree with this Hamilton. I don’t believe the Constitution will be useful in our society’s needs. It would not because all the power would be in a strong central government. The power should be left in the hands of the states.
The Constitution lacks a defined list of the unalienable rights that belong to the citizens of America. The king abused his power and denied us our necessary rights. We need a guarantee that our government will protect the freedoms we fought so hard for. #fightforourrights
I favor the very strong New Jersey Plan. It brings the small states’ perspectives to the table. The New Jersey Plan makes sure everyone feels equal. Do we really want unequal representation? I came to this country to leave oppression not create it! #votenewjerseyplan
Due to the fact that the Virginia Plan supports a central government with three branches I oppose it. The Virginia Plan also proposes that representation was determined by a state’s population. I strongly object to this because I believe in equal representation for all. #antifed
The Federalists’ 70th paper describes the newly formed executive branch's immense responsibilities. We do not want the people's power to end up in the hands of a potentially distant national government. Power among state and local governments will allow our voices to be heard.
The proposed constitution will create a government so far removed from the people that they will be utterly clueless as to what we want! #absurd#HamiltonMoreLikeHamilTOAD
As an Anti-Federalist, I DO NOT support the ratification of the Constitution and oppose the idea of a strong central government. I believe that population size of a state SHOULD NOT determine how many votes a state receives.
