@ThomasDrance@carcuri18 Would you have expected to get a better piece for Pettersson? Somehow I can’t see the negative with a first return, even if we need to fill a spot. He wasn’t a superstar and looked less than average for the first half at least. Hmmm
@DanRussellST I was golfing with an ex canucks captain that said Garrett’s removal was “politics”. Whatever that’s supposed to mean? He also mentioned he was “forced out”. I’m not sure anyone was happy with that decision.
@DonTaylor5@DonnieandDhali What happened to Boeser and DeBrusk? We talk Petey but without that talking point we would be onto these guys. Not to mention Lankenen and Marcus Peterson. We really shouldn’t be this incredibly bad. #Canucks
@Comp4SB@Raymond_Hatt He’s missing passion for sure. I believe this is the biggest reason for his downfall. Lots of players have fell out of love with hockey and this is what it looks like. Too bad, so much talent
@SatiarShah I know bro, I’m a frequent listener. Just thought I’d ask you the same question for everyone on x
Watching the tentative overtime was the hardest part. It’s an excellent opportunity to energize the building and Canucks just disappoint every time.
@lagonikakis11@ThomasDrance Not going as far as bullying but definitely a media that seems to thrive on the failure af the team. Was interesting to see the way the flyers #Canucks game was covered by American media. Way less battering and more about enjoying the hockey game. Refreshing if nothing else
Looking at the #Canucks core. Seems to me most guys have either been on the trade block or asked out. Remember Garland seeking a trade and Boeser’s agent shopping him. Tyler Myers name was perpetually out there. Petey.Any other team in the league with anything even close to this?
@IceNIN75@ThomasDrance@FrankiePeepz Good point although isn’t the modern game about bounces? Bettman’s parity has left bounces as the difference for many teams on many nights.
@ThomasDrance@FrankiePeepz@IceNIN75 Fair for sure. If you look at where the points are coming from it’s also fair to say that getting the inevitable points from the likes of Boeser and DeBrusk might improve that PDO to something more sustainable.
@ThomasDrance@FrankiePeepz@IceNIN75 4 wins in a row doesn’t constitute “bounces”. Not when missing 2 center men and having won those 4 games on the road. Slighter better than bounces conservatively.
An #NHL team is always building. Fix what’s broken, rebuilding seems to include replacing parts that aren’t a problem. Continually building better is the goal. #Canucks
