I question Afghan journalists & political commentators that criticize the world but not their own government. Real patriots want to support the improvement of their country and countrymen, not allow cruelty and injustice fester and increase.
It was my pleasure joining you all and amplifying the voices of our sisters from inside. The past five years have proven that when women of Afghanistan get united, they can move mountains.
Afghan governance doesn't fail because centralization is wrong. It fails because the conditions that make centralization work were never built. The only way forward, the author of the policy paper argues, is conditioned centralization. In this roundtable, four Afghan experts test that framework against reality: @attal_shams, @ArefDostyar, @WRahimdil, and @LMurtaza07 discuss what serious rebuilding of Afghanistan is and what governance strategies it requires. A mosque costing 32 million Afghanis has been built and opened in Kandahar's Maiwand district.
The mosque was constructed on the orders of the Islamic Emirate's leadership for male and female worshippers travelling along major highways.

Had the pleasure of being on a call with @Spouzhmai1@HanifaGirowal and @NehanNargis today representing the work that our organizations do for Afghan women and finding pathways to work together to scale and support every Afghan woman inside and outside the country. I’m always inspired by those who move mountains to ensure safety, mobility and justice reach their people. 💛
What's the best governance system for Afghanistan? Centralized? Tribal? Federal?
The question has been asked many times and there is always a different answer. Here you can listen to Afghans tell you what they think was best for their government.
I have travelled across 10 provinces and have never seen Afghan women like this. Maybe once in a while I will see a niqabi but this is new new and not representative of the wide diversity Afghanistan has. These women were probably paid in chai and roat to attend this gathering.
This is not how women in Afghanistan are.
This is how Talibs who grew up in NaPakistani madrasas project how they think Afghanistan should be based on their teachings in the madrasa.
This is the Talib who craves power wants to rule to Afghanistan. The Talib who uses religion to satisfy that craving.
Soccer has always been defined by free-flowing, unbroken action. But for the World Cup in America, FIFA is using “hydration breaks” to shoehorn in commercials. 🔗 https://t.co/oGBRJnetMo
I can tell he’s from a low context culture when he said soccer is the most boring sport ever known to man kind. Every other country except the U.S. thinks differently than you. Imagine me watching baseball. I’d rather bungee jump from mars to earth.
The World Cup is exposing an uncomfortable truth about international relations: citizens of countries in the Global South face systemic discrimination in visa and immigration procedures.
This is unfortunately not specific to Band-e-Amir.
Amr bil Maroof has investigators standing right outside Qargha Lake, Paghman Valley, and Shakardarah Dam (places I have personally experienced).
They search cars and do not allow any vehicles with women close to green spots or scenic places.
Even if you are visiting friends or family in Paghman and Shakardarah districts, they stop you and make you call them to confirm you are a guest. They leave no stone unturned to ensure not a single woman or girl can breathe the fresh air in these places.
Foreign women, however, are allowed and at times even provided security guards.
Why not extend the same honor and respect to the women of your own country?
I’ll never understand these policies. At times it just feels like they come from a place of deep hate for Afghan women in general.
I’ll never be able to wrap my head around IEA’s policies regarding Afghan women.
@servercookies@yejaazy It has happened many times! Just because it didn’t happen to you doesn’t mean it’s not happening. Stop denying the truth of what happens to other you bot.
Imagine you come take your mother all the way from Germany to Band-e-Amir and the Amr-bil-Maroof denies her from seeing it whilst foreign tourist can get free access. Always a nation of “Begana Parast”!
I don’t care what people think, but cooperating in the oppression of other Muslim women is haram and no flag changes that. This enables zulm. Just because you think you have freedom it doesn’t mean you can take someone else’s.
Khalid Zadran, spokesperson for the Kabul Police Command, says the man responsible for an incident that injured three girls in Kabul’s Sixth Police District has been arrested along with his vehicle.
According to Zadran, the detainee is under legal investigation, and the relevant authorities are continuing to process the case.

Yes, these women are AI-generated.
This is a popular 2026 trend: AI tools (like Kling, Seedance, etc.) create hyper-polished montages of model-like “fans” in national jerseys with flag face paint. The perfect lighting, makeup, symmetry, and “LIVE” watermark across countries are classic signs of synthetic content, not real stadium footage.
Classic viral AI format.
