@LindseyPelas You dont have to be religious to buy into those as they are integral parts of society. The ideas became something that people grow up understanding because that is how tradition works. As long as religion holds sway as a majority belief these concept wont disappear.

@LizbethEden The Poor Man's Fight series by Elliot Kay. Awesome sci-fi series and the narrator is fantastic really brings the characters to life. Has some of the best characters in sci-fi.

It was formerly held by England and they had to cede it back to china at one point. Taiwan doesnt want to be under china though, so you have this tension which other countries domt want to step in to.

Encouraging future writings to expand target audiences or to diversify is fine, but to erase decades worth of lore and character building because "virtue" is ridiculous.
