This week on #ARCEnergyIdeas: a landmark moment for Canada—our first LNG cargo sailed from Kitimat, BC this summer. We’re joined by @lngcanada President & CEO Chris Cooper to unpack what it means #LNG#CNDpoli https://t.co/UxrnqtoqhJ
LNG Canada is pleased to announce we are now producing LNG from our second of two LNG processing units, known as trains. We will continue to advance our operations, safely and responsibly, as we help Canada to diversify its export markets with key trading partners.
LNG Canada Achieves Ten Cargoes
Today LNG Canada marked the safe departure of a 10th LNG cargo destined for global markets – a milestone made possible by the dedication of everyone in and around LNG Canada who are making Canada’s first large-scale LNG export operation a reality.
The LNG Canada team led by CEO Chris Cooper was honoured today to welcome to our site B.C. Premier David Eby, Minister Adrian Dix, and Kitimat Mayor Phil Germuth. The Premier voiced his government’s strong support for our work and for additional LNG development in B.C.
Today, LNG Canada successfully loaded a first cargo of liquefied natural gas that is now destined for global markets, marking the start of operations at Canada’s first large-scale LNG export facility. https://t.co/wRnS1egshp
