LNG NL’s liquefaction CO2 emissions will also be the lowest in the world. LNG NL’s project supports the march to decarbonization.

The Miawpukek First Nation inked a historic partnership and equity agreement with LNG NL in September 2021.

Miawpukek will see active participation in the project. Their involvement with LNG NL has been endorsed nationally by the FNMPC.

Grassy Point, Placentia Bay is the most strategic site for an LNG facility in NL. LNG NL will construct an Export Terminal consisting of an onshore pre-processing facility and a FLNG Vessel moored onsite for liquefication of the clean gas.

LNG NL has partnered with C-CORE, who specialize in pipeline risk assessment. 1st Phase Development of our plan will involve construction of a 600 km pipeline to bring the gas directly from existing offshore production platforms to Grassy Point, Placentia Bay, NL.

At Gassy Point in Placentia Bay, NL, LNG NL will construct a US$2.5 billion Export Terminal consisting of:

👉 An onshore pre-processing facility to clean the gas
👉 A Floating Liquified Natural Gas (FLNG) vessel moored onsite for liquefaction of the clean gas and storage of LNG.

Miawpukek’s involvement with LNG NL has been endorsed nationally by the First Nations Major Projects Coalition (FNMPC). Through its majority owned joint venture company, Horizon Maritime Services, the Miawpukek will see active participation in the project.
