There’s a difference between right and wrong. Fair and unfair. And the way you treat people says a hell of a lot more about you than anything you could say about yourself.

I know my heart. I know how I show up for people. When I believe in someone, I put my time, my energy, and my whole heart into helping them succeed. I care about seeing people do good out here. That’s who I am, and I’m proud of that.

But I’m learning to give myself that same support. To recognize what I bring to the table and actually stand behind it. I work my ass off. My time matters. My ideas matter. The things I create have value. And I shouldn’t have to keep explaining why that deserves respect.

I can believe in you and still believe in myself enough to say, “This isn’t fair to me.”

So I’m speaking up more. Being honest about what I need. Setting boundaries and holding myself to them, even when it’s uncomfortable. Because I can’t keep saying I know my worth and then agreeing to things that leave me feeling like I’ve forgotten it.

I’m still going to love hard, help people, and cheer them on. But I deserve people in my corner who care about seeing me win, too. People who show up with the same honesty and consideration I try to give them.

And I’m sharing this first for myself and also because I know someone else in this space is probably struggling with the same shit. Wondering if they’re asking for too much. Feeling guilty for saying no. Trying to figure out how to stand up for themselves without feeling like they’re letting somebody down (Thats the biggest one for me).

I’m figuring it out, too. And if talking openly about what I’m learning helps someone else recognize their value or finally speak up, then I’m glad I said something.

Be kind to yourself. Treat people kindly. And when you’re out here reminding everyone else how much they’re capable of, make sure you save some of those words for yourself. You deserve to believe them about you, too.
