@TeamCavuto Best wishes for a healthy, happy life post-@FoxNews. There aren’t many journalists remaining with your level of integrity. You will be missed. 🫡
@melindagates What I love most about this scene: @JerrySeinfeld is unprepared for the look on Wayne Knight's face, and flinches trying to suppress a laugh. #Seinfeld30
@Shafer1337 It’s a pathetic self-own the way Ben fanboys are talking about the alleged unredacted American Fork footage while ignoring how Ben sliced and diced his spyglasses footage to leave out huge chunks of the conversation in the Keizer store. Watch the multiple strategic jump cuts👇🏾
YOU: “The first half of part 1 is a difficult slog but it picks up in part 2 hope you check it out. Would be interested to seem if your opinion stays the same or changes”
ME: Something I’ve learned over my decades is that mainstream media news outlets that *lead* with lies 🤥 CANNOT be trusted to self-correct. The best you can hope for is that someone with a megaphone big enough to cut through their agitprop to force them to acknowledge facts they chose to omit from their news.
That goes *at least* double for bloggers, vloggers & “influencers,” who unlike professional journalists don’t have a putative standard to maintain. There is no plumb line nor a rock bottom for online creators. It is “The Wild, Wild West.” So I am unmoved when in response to pointing out Ben’s falsehoods in Part One people all but say “Yeah, but he tells the truth in Part Two! Watch!”
Ben’s video is apparently compelling enough to outlast the usual fortnight these types of stories last. But along with millions of views and GoFundMe donor$, he’s cultivated unbiased scrutiny, and that generally doesn’t swing in his favor. Attorney Andrew Esquire (@TheLegalMindset) & Scott Shafer (@Shafer1337) have touched on the same points I did, and they actually cited official documents to disprove claims Schneider fed his audience as he rode a high horse of justice for a dying man’s family. https://t.co/JZgQYcFzww
“Why is that a bad thing?” you may ask. The collection of donations to replace the lost proceeds of the consignment sale IS an admirable achievement, but it likely would have never happened that way if Ben 🤩 couldn’t make himself a viral sensation.
EVERYBODY’S talking about the Bricks & Minifigs scandal…but I checked out the original Reckless Ben video and was annoyed at his ignorant POV suggesting that BAM was being “protected” by police who didn’t help him confiscate the disputed Star Wars LEGO collection on the spot.
Am I saying BAM did nothing wrong? Not at all. Ben is a young man, but he IS an adult, and shouldn’t have so much difficulty grasping that a third party layman in a legal dispute just can’t bulldoze his way to justice because he’s on the side of the angels.
Republican Steve Hilton celebrated early returns Tuesday night at the Waterfront Beach Resort in Huntington Beach, where supporters cheered results that, as of midnight, showed him leading the governor's race with 29.4% of the vote. Democrat Xavier Becerra followed with 27.5%.
YOU: “So you watched the first 5 minutes of a 2 hour video and had the to confidence to comment on it”
ME: 😌 Sure did. Because Ben was talking out of his posterior 🍑💨 when he said BAM should’ve turned over the collection to HIM as if he—a total stranger from hundreds of miles away—had the legal right to receive it. He didn’t. As wrong as BAM might be in their dealings with Mansell, they were right to tell Ben to leave. They would have been damn fools to give Ben a single brick based on his pop-in appearance with a copy of a contract on which he was NOT a signee.
@ToledoWalleye may have lost the @ECHL Kelly Cup Final, but pro hockey in Toledo has taken a massive leap forward as far as corporate identity is concerned.
The Toledo Storm (1991-2007) was for many years insistent on keeping this shockingly amateurish logo ↙️ 🫣 OTOH, the Walleye’s fun and playful image ↘️ is enhanced by bold, distinctive graphics and uniforms that are fit for a market many times its size. 😯😆👏🏾

@SFGiants Logan Webb throws seven 1-hit innings against the red-hot Brewers. Rookie Victor Bericoto hits his first career HR.
It’s top of the ninth. #SFGiants lead 1-0.
This game has heartache written ALL over it. 🫣
@BBGreatMoments Afternoon for me. We subscribed to the evening Examiner.
👴🏾Yep, kiddo—there was once a time when there would be ✌🏾TWO daily newspapers! One in the morning, and one in the afternoon!
@maddenifico Hey Bill -- show up to a staff meeting and scream and yell at your bosses. Tell me how that goes. You seemed to purposely ignore what he's said to have done to be shown the door.
I was an intern at @CBSNews when Pelley would fill in for Katie Couric on the evening news. I watched in the control room one day as he directed them to slowly push the shot in on him as he took his glasses off. It was so fake I’ve remembered it for 15 years.
