It was an evening filled with smiles, laughs and plenty of Hays CISD pride as our @HaysEF May 18 celebrated our district’s academic elite with the annual Linebarger Recognition Award ceremony!
Taking a step back to the days of the pioneers was part of the focus for @kespanthers 3rd graders during their Back in Time Day event on May 19! Way to go Panthers!
Kaunli Hehr, Live Oak Top Honor Grad, was selected by the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals @TASSP1 for the Teens Serving Texas Award to recognize seniors who have demonstrated excellence in community service, leadership, and personal accomplishments.
"Change your mindset and you'll change your actions. Change your actions and you'll change your results." Thanks, alienearbud for another powerful message & I'm only on pg. 6 of Master Mind: Unlocking Talent Within Every School Leader. Check it out!
The mastermind is a #PD model for #leaders looking to level up & learn a strategic advantage relied on by business leaders like Andrew Carnegie, Henry Ford, & FDR. If it worked for them, imagine what could it do for you and your school? @alienearbud

@LOAPurpleCoach is working in art with hands on activities during these challenging times. Students excited to work and meet the challenge. @LiveOakOwls
Art met science in the @LiveOakOwls classrooms of Shawna Mayerson and Nat Romo Oct. 23 as they created Gyotaku, or fish prints. And because it's Pink Day in Hays CISD, students' fish prints took on a pink hue.
