@cranberryrasp@DailyFSFlops They’ve had a few issues this season at Euros and at the Olympics, but they’ve never fallen like that again. Usually they are quite consistent, they get level 3 or 4 most of the time.
@Linzerrr24 @AsherHill Because the lift they were deducted for was fine all season, no one warned them that it could be borderline illegal, so the fact that it was called illegal now, when their score would have put them above the Americans is quite suspicious
The ISU will not be reviewing the deduction applied to 🇬🇧 Lilah Fear / Lewis Gibson’s free dance at #WorldFigure. They said the result is final and not subject to appeal.
@elysiondream I don’t think they were messy, I think it was the best they skated since NHK. I don’t even think ZK are as good as people are making them out to be, they’re just happy because they’re not from IAM, but her skating skills are quite questionable.
@italianfskating I 100% agree that G/F were badly dropped, but in this case, the original score for F/G was around 127, which would have put them in second. They called out an element as illegal when it was always fine. To me that’s very suspicious and pro USA.
@Indig2S@FeeltheRhythmMA@AnythingGOE Yes it is a problem, because their tech score and components score were higher than the Americans, so they called out an element that was perfectly fine in other competitions just to knock them down.
@juleslh87@AnythingGOE How are the costumes tacky? Because they’re tartan? Lol it’s a Scottish free dance. And they’re not amateur at all. If it wasn’t for that ridiculous deduction, they would have won silver.
