Hello from Rockley! We have had another fun packed day, full of sailing, archery, crabbing and we even found time for a spot of shopping! We have discovered some future round the world sailors among our Year 6s and we have been so impressed with their team work and friendship.
World Book Day was even more special than usual today with staff and students donning fancy dress again after a two year interruption.
Our practically perfect in every way Teaching Assistants led the way! #WorldBookDay
Year 2 had a special visitor to help them celebrate Chinese New Year this week.
Simon’s mum brought in fortune cookies and special red pockets to bring the children good luck in the year of the tiger!
The very proud house captains are pictured here with their DeMontfort tree, winner of the fiercely contested tree decorating competition!
Congratulations to Malling's Evie and Lottie, Barbican's George and Rufus and DeMontfort's Kai and Mia, who won the individual prizes!
The show must go on!
This year's Junior School Carol Concert was performed on an open air stage.
The PTA provided warming mulled wine and hot chocolate, and the children put on their best ever performance.

In celebration of Diverse Book Week students have formed a Library Committee to review and recommend a range of diverse books!
The pupils created information cards to accompany each book in the library, helping other pupils to choose a book that interests them.
Congratulations to Stan Stoneham in Year 6 who was awarded 4 trophies at his cricket club’s end of year celebrations, and was nominated by his coach for Sussex trials.
Let’s hope he will now be able to put his skills to good use in school fixtures this year. Well done Stan!
Parents were able to enjoy the Year 6 play at a private cinema screening this year.
