The Interior Minister says preliminary investigations into the intercepted Australia bound meth shipment suggest that government officials may have manipulated security systems to facilitate the operation.
STATEMENT BY HON. REV. JOHN NTIM FORDJOUR
My sympathies are with all families affected by the floods. As more heavy rains are forecast by GMet, I urge the immediate activation of all security and emergency response agencies to protect lives and property.
Hon. @NtimFordjour 🇫🇷🇬🇭
Yesterday in Parliament, I joined my colleagues in sympathizing with victims of floods across the country. Beyond sympathy, our people deserve pragmatic solutions and coordinated emergency relief. I concluded by calling on govt to DECLARE ACCRA DISASTER EMERGENCY ZONE for one week in the wake of devastating floods and further predictions by GMet of more rains expected this week.
Government must declare Accra a DISASTER EMERGENCY ZONE for one week amidst today’s devastating floods and more rains predicted to hit Accra this week by GMEt - Ntim Fordjour
On the ongoing Accra FLOODS:
The government must declare Accra a DISASTER EMERGENCY for one week starting today!
Without delay, this is the time to activate all security agencies and emergency services in a well-coordinated full-scale rescue operation, emergency response and relief, while working with Department of Urban Roads and Ghana Highway Authority to ensure key access routes are made accessible in the midst of flooded roads across the city.
More lives should not be lost, more properties should not be damaged before action is taken.
Sympathies to all affected victims.

The Bill as passed in 2024 and resubmitted in 2025, was a 19 clauses Bill. Yet, NDC in 2026, have deleted 22 original provisions and inserted a total of 31 new watered-down, diluted, undeterring , and less-efficacious provisions which are rather pleasing to and protective of foreign donors, international organizations, non governmental organizations as well as local cartels and clandestine avenues who are notorious for promoting, supporting, sponsoring, advocating for and advancing the LGBTQ agenda in Ghana.
Stay tuned as we present the Clause by Clause details in how this new bill passed under NDC is substantially different from and inferior to the original passed in 2024.
So President Mahama @JDMahama and NDC weaponized LGBTQ and sponsored all these obnoxious lies just to win power and make a SHARP U TURN on LGBTQ? What a SCAM!
