@prskfacts Kanade's rendering (idk if this is the right term) also looks different. Maybe they used an early version of that card and it got changed when it officially released in the game
@kuriinyan Maybe to symbolize how pretty she is in ones eyes and none of the stuff in the background comes into your eyes (sorry english is not my first language, I hope this is understandable)
@kuriinyan While I do agree with you to some extent, I think Airis 'sush' posture and the very bright background, smooth lighting and the lack of any objects in this card delivers the ethereal vibe very well and I belive this was their intention
@kuriinyan Yes it looks very "empty" and "lazy" compared to other cards (including in the past) but to me the illustration gives off something like a euphoric... vibe? Its simple but the lighting, Airi's posture and the whole atmosphere in that card just feels very pretty and well done
@kuriinyan Tbh I feel like THIS specific card wasnt really them being lazy but just wanted to go for a different direction than the other cards. Doesnt really make sense to me why only HER card would be like this but not the other cards in the same set including the 3 star card.
@mtfrui I think its because this art came out after one of his comm music was removed from the game because the composer became a criminal ๐ญ its kinda obviouse since he is wearing the outfit from that said event too
