Thank you advocates. 🇨🇦

Earlier this week, MP @NateForOntario read our stablecoin petition e-6978 in Parliament.

Initiated by @kevinzhangTO, Founder of @LoonFinance, and supported by Stand With Crypto Canada, the petition brought nearly 9,000 advocate voices to Parliament calling for clear and responsible stablecoin rules.

The journey to get here started long before the petition was read - from live stablecoin demos for MPs and staff in Ottawa, to months of education, advocacy, and community action.

🇨🇦Together, 130,000 Stand with Crypto advocates helped stablecoins become part of national policy.

To everyone who signed and shared: thank you.

A Canadian dollar stablecoin is only useful if Canadians can get access to it. Everything we have been building since 2021 has been about that.

This week the Ontario Securities Commission issued a receipt for the final prospectus of CADC Reserve Trust.

Nearly every digital dollar in circulation is American. Canadians moving money onchain have been doing it in someone else's currency, on someone else's terms. We started CADC so that would be optional.

This offering is only made by prospectus. The Prospectus is accessible through SEDAR+ under the profile of the Issuer. Investors should read the Prospectus before making an investment decision.

The Canadian dollar has never had much of a presence onchain. Nearly every digital dollar in circulation is American, which means Canadians moving money digitally have been doing it in someone else's currency, on someone else's terms.

@CADCstablecoin is the answer to that, and as of this week it comes with a prospectus.

🔴 The Ontario Securities Commission has issued a receipt for the final prospectus of CADC Reserve Trust, dated October 22, 2026. The Prospectus qualifies the distribution of CADC Tokens in each of the provinces and territories of Canada.

This offering is only made by prospectus. The Prospectus is accessible through SEDAR+ under the profile of the Issuer, CADC Reserve Trust. Investors should read the Prospectus before making an investment decision.

[LayerZero @LayerZero_Core]

For most of stablecoins’ short history, the key question was whether on-chain dollars could work at all.
That question has been answered, decisively, and at a scale few would have predicted.

A different question
has now taken its place, one that matters for billions of people and businesses around the world: What does adoption look like for everyone who doesn't transact in dollars?

Our latest research, The Case for Non-USD Stablecoins, explores this question.

As stablecoins evolve from a crypto asset into a new payment infrastructure layer, they are showing more potential to enable faster settlement, more efficient cross-border payments, and programmable financial services that operate around the clock. With major economies moving to establish clear regulatory frameworks around this innovation, the policy choices made today will shape how this technology develops and where innovation takes place.

Our new blog explores why Canada has an opportunity to build a globally competitive framework for stablecoin payments. We examine how stablecoins fit within Canada's evolving regulatory landscape, why they should be recognized as payment infrastructure, and what policymakers can do to support innovation without sacrificing stability or protection.
