He carried her back into the keep and to their chambers. He sat her down by the fire and poured them some wine.
"It is cold out there we should warm up. Here you are, my love."
He handed her a cup.
And once the ceremony was over they kissed sealing the marriage. It was not a fancy wedding, no where’s close, but it was nice.. because it was just them, and for a moment she could forget all the troubles on her mind and just enjoy the moment with her husband
"Very well, my love."
Roose lead her out to the godswood where the septon was waiting.
"We are ready."
The septon nodded.
"In the sight of the Seven, I hereby see you these two souls, binding them as one for eternity. Look upon one another and say the words." >>
His actions and words were kind and appreciated but she just smiled as her fingers closed around his
“No, I am ready to say I do.. I am ready to be your wife.”
"Would you like to clean up then head to the godswood?"
He kissed her hand and smiled stopping by his chambers door. He would busy himself if she needed to.
“No it won’t.. but it will be ours and I do think it will be happy.” She said as she took in her new surroundings, Cat rarely visited other places since her kids had kept her busy first so long. Letting him guide her through his home,
He laughed and handed off her horse than lead her into the castle. His hand resting on the small of her back.
"I am sure you never thought this day would come. I understand that since you and Ned were so happy. It won't be the same but we will be happy."
She smiled softly at his words, letting him help her down she looked up at hi
“I was more of thinking.. I never thought I’d be a bride again..” she teased trying to make light of the situation
"My children already like you. And my men know what I will do if they don't respect you."
He said as the horses stopped by the steps. He climbed off his horse and handed the reigns to a stable boy then helped her down.
"You will like it here."
Couple hours later her horse stops. Looking directly at her new home.. it was real now.. looking up at the castle gates she could see light from the inside probably from the rest of his men and his children waiting to greet them.
She looks over at him, need reassurance before +
Roose rode along side of her away from Winterfell. The choices made had already tore the North apart, and her children. Arya would return eventually he was sure of it.
He looked over at her and understood that guilt she felt. It was hard to accept that there was nothing >>
She noticed his gesture and honestly she appreciated it more than anything as she watched him. Her horse following beside him as they road off
“Alright” it had been a long day, abd this discussion was hard but she also did not hate it.. part of her looked forward
He stopped by her horse and helped her up onto it. He patted her hand, this was hard on her and he knew it.
He walked to his horse and climbs onto it. "It shouldn't take long to get there."
“But the madness will still be here… I just won’t be..” she sighed placing her face in her hands with a small laugh..
What will happen to Winterfell if she left?… but also will it matter if she stays?
