Was definitely assuming there would be a large drop off in page visits after the PVP sunset article, but https://t.co/YQciAmsgKj just hit the most amount of page views and Google clicks ever!
Lux illuminated TOO bright this morning which caused an outage to our cards API. She is helping us look into the issue. We appreciate everyone's patience while we look into this✨
It has now been 4 days since Lux's card reveal and the cards API has yet to be updated with any of the new cards recently shown.
The cards API from Riot (usually) updates right as the cards are showed on their public platforms.
Of course, while a bit annoying, this is not a huge deal unless the expansion releases with still no access to the cards for sites like this.
If it is not fixed by the time release happens, however, https://t.co/YQciAmsgKj and I assume other sites like @Runeterra_ar will break.
Last thing for now. If anyone will still be creating tournaments, my last feature was an lor-specific tournament creation tool. I think it's pretty cool, honestly.
DM or discord me any questions or collaboration.

As I scroll through everyone's thoughts, I'm just feeling more defeated.
My situation is a bit different from others in the community. While I enjoyed the game, my passion was really making this site.
Even though I learned so much, it feels like it was for nothing.
Thread...
Anyway, my closing advice is that I don't these data sites for games are worth making, in case you ever considered it.
Games are way too erratic to be reliable. And data sites are a lot of work.
You can learn a lot, though, I guess.
Very frustrating news.
My hope is that the community can keep competitive pvp alive with grassroots tournaments, but I feel like I'm just coping.
Maybe someday the game will get more investment when LoR is mentioned in the league client and the economy is doing better. :/
An idea I come back to every now and then is a card game completely driven and created by the community.
Some additional details in the thread below.
I'm curious if anyone else thinks this could be a good idea.
I had other features planned, but can't spend the time and effort required for a game that will continue to lose support.
This site has been a passion project for me the past few years, and I've enjoyed it greatly. Wish it didn't have to end like this.
Barring some surprisingly great news announced on 2/2, https://t.co/YQciAmsgKj will no longer have any new feature development.
The tournament page will still be fully released and known bugs across the site will still be fixed.
I wish the best to everyone who contributed on making this game great, including the engineers, designers, content creators, and the community as a whole.
Truly a one-of-a-kind game.
I went into this week thinking I could help out the competitive scene with a new tournament feature. And now it feels like Riot just stomped all over LoR and the pvp experience. Hoping for the best on 2/2.
I need the help of the LoR community!
My friends at @LORGG__ are with a TESTING PHASE on their website https://t.co/opqekbdyz0, where from now on, TOURNAMENTS ORGANIZERS can create their #LegendsOfRuneterra tournaments.
