Per ESPN Research, the Seahawks are the first team since the 1984 Browns to hold their first seven opponents under 180 passing yards. They're allowing a league-low 3.99 yards per play, which is the fewest through seven games by any team since the 2019 Patriots (3.96).
The #Seahawks extend their franchise record to 36 consecutive games without allowing a 100-yard rusher.
Coincidentally, they hold Ken Walker III to 36 rushing yards.
The Seattle Seahawks have now gone 36 straight games without allowing a 100 yard rusher.
Kenneth Walker III finishes with just 36 yards on 14 carries tonight as the Hawks improve to 4-3 with a 20-3 win over the previously-undefeated Chiefs.
Meanwhile, Emanuel Wilson finished with 100 yards on 24 carries himself.
Figured as much given Macdonald smiling his way through trying to explain Nick's "injury" on Friday, and the fact they didn't elevate Aidan Hubbard from the practice squad.
Great news as they prepare to face the red-hot Kenneth Walker-led Chiefs offense.
I just got hit with a "who have the Seahawks even played that's good?"
So, let's take a look....
Seattle's opponents combined win pct. = .473
Kansas City's opponents = .310
4 of the Chiefs 5 wins have come against teams with a combined win pct of .217
Their one "quality win" was week 1 against a 4-2 Broncos team who's offense now sits at 31st in the NFL in YPG.
@Rgime11@AUSTINPOKERGUY1 Because that's not how football works. Go back and look at the last 20 Super Bowl champs. You can find a bad loss for just about every one of them.
@scottm2032@LOSeahawks Kelce could have 2 chopped off knee caps and as long as Sam Darnold is on the other sideline, he as a more than good chance of winning a game. Mahomes won 2 super bowls with MVS as his WR1 and a shitbag 7th rd RB1.. Keep hopium alive😂😂
The backfield injury situation may not be the scariest part for Seattle.
Charbonnet’s OUT vs. Kansas City Sunday night, but the real problem might be who’s left on the EDGE rotation.
3 of their 5 EDGE rushers on the 53-man roster are listed as questionable for SNF vs. the 5-0 Chiefs.
• DeMarcus Lawrence seems likely to play (captain vibes)
• Connor O’Toole and Uchenna Nwosu are the swing guys
• If they’re out, Seattle’s pass rush gets thin fast
• That could mean Aidan Hubbard getting elevated
Who worries you more for Sunday: the run game or the EDGE group?
