I love seeing all of the "ugly" sweaters! There was only one character I could think of who was ugly in the beginning, but turned out to be kind. I will be sending home the winter reading challenge tomorrow. If you misplace it, a copy will be posted on the LOV webpage.

It is candy cane day! Did you know the world’s largest candy cane was created in 2011 and was 63 feet tall? Come down to the library to find out other cool facts about candy canes and while you are there grab a cookbook to create some delicious treats for the holidays!

4th and 5th gr Ss are challenged to make the longest holiday chain with 1 piece of paper, 1 piece of tape, and scissors in 10 mins. After they are using online resources to learn about different holidays
