ITV News was invited to film inside Barnet hospital where they found wards full to capacity, staff stretched to their limits - and patients who had given up hope.

Patients thanked staff for delivering amazing care, despite the pressures of winter as part of an @itvnews report filmed at Barnet Hospital.

Health correspondent Rebecca Barry (@BeccaBarry) filmed with staff and patients across the hospital to find out about their experiences this winter. Among those she spoke to were patient Alexandra who thanked staff for looking after her while she waited for tests to be carried out.
