I am very happy to see this perspective on molecular subtypes of small cell #lungcancer in @NatureRevCancer - feels like a tribute to the late Adi Gazdar by many of his friends and colleagues.

There’s a huge difference between being busy and being productive:
Being busy = doing lots of things
Being productive = doing the most important things in the best possible way
Busyness fools you into thinking you’re making progress, but productivity actually moves you forward.
Some pts have sustained benefit even after D/C of IO-induced great response.
However, shouldn't presume pts will do better by forcing CR by "intensification" (RT? surgery?) not achieved otherwise. Like trying sex change for men after noting women have better cancer outcomes.
The rest of the commentary. Thanks to @FAndreMD & @Annals_Oncology for publishing. Written in honor of cancer patients who bravely go on early phase clinical trials & the oncologists who conduct these trials on a daily basis.
