@TommyUtgaard @jkaigler3 Sounds a lot like the issue we had with the Latitude 5420 and the Intel VHD driver. At the time the VHD driver was new and AHCI was a workaround. After a month Intel released a new AVD driver and then we could image in SCSI. Did not have the issue on the Latitude 5430.

I've been unable to get a 7390 2-in-1 to image reliably with 1809 since earlier this year. Use the WD15/19 to image and the Intel USB controller loves to randomly stop responding. Other Dell models run fine
