When all of that failed they tried to assassinate him not once but four times.

And they go on national television to talk about how we need to vote for them to save democracy.

My entire life politicians on both sides of the aisle have sworn up and down, on television and before Congress, that Iran was pursuing a nuclear weapon.

Everyone agreed.

The only disagreement lay in how best to handle it; by carrot or stick?

Well we’ve been giving them carrots since Cheers was on, and by all accounts it’s only made them more brazen.

So finally, after decades of failure, Trump comes along and tries a new approach, one that seems to have worked, and half the right is shitting on him?

Beyond bullshit, especially considering that we all voted for him BECAUSE HE PLEDGED TO DO THINGS DIFFERENTLY!

And yes I understand the “no new wars” thing, but maybe, just maybe, he learned something he didn’t know in the 4 years he was out of office.

And maybe, just maybe, he isn’t Dick Cheney and has no plans to occupy the country for a decade or more.

I guess time will tell, because this isn’t over, but this moaning from his one-time supporters seems manufactured.

Because any adult knows that no politician will deliver on everything you want, but if the biggest promise they break is ridding the world of its largest terrorist state then count your fucking blessings.

Some may be wondering (correctly) why I'm all over the place.

I have no loyalty to a party, only a country.

I have blood oaths to family and the Infantry only.

I am a product of my experience. And what I've seen in Texas, I don't like.

I am technically a resident of there. Stationed there 3 separate times since 2007. During my last stint, it became unrecognizable. I just left a few months ago.

Walking through Austin or Dallas was surreal. It did not resemble anything close to what I imagine America being. It wasn't even "diverse" at all. Just me, whoever I was with, and infinity Indians or Muslims.

Once upon a time I'd say "live and let live". But I can't anymore. I want to be in a country surrounded by people with a social contract. Folks that will help others in need for NO personal gain beyond doing what's right.

The people pouring in to Texas don't do this for anyone who don't look like them. It's not conjecture, it's fact. When the Texas floods happened, Doc Chambers was out there assembling teams to pull people out of the water. No foreigners were volunteering to help.

You see, that means something to me. It gets after the reason why we exist as a country. And I can't stand idly by and watch leaders just keep allowing that in perpetuity. All because they have more money in their campaign war chests, now they're untouchable?

This was never the America the founders meant it to be. We should not be backing our demise and those who facilitate it, just because it's financially convenient.

I'm going to drop this subject for now. I'm just tired of paying taxes so others can just give it away to our replacements. Replacements who, by their own actions, prove they don't give a damn about us.

It’s crazy to look back and realize:

1. Trump was banned from Twitter for two years.

2. Trump was banned from YouTube for two years.

3. Trump was banned from Instagram and Facebook for two years.

4. The government pressured Facebook to censor dissenting voices as “misinformation”.

5. The government pressured Twitter to shadowban conservative accounts.

6. The government pressured Twitter to censor the Hunter Biden laptop story.

7. Trump has been hit with hundreds of lawsuits incurring $100-200 million in expenses over the last 8 years

8. Legacy media near-uniformly posted negative headlines about Trump

9. Google search results reflected and may have even amplified media bias

The fact that he was able to win again despite all of this is a stunning triumph of the human spirit.
