LPS schools have started the state required school screening for height/weight, vision, hearing and dental. School screening identifies potential health concerns that may impact academic success! Another way to keep students safe, healthy and ready to learn!

The beginning of the school year is almost here!
Kindergarten & 7th Graders are asked to complete a physical exam and turn in paperwork to the health office or upload on ParentVUE.

Health Services was on the move this morning! School nurses & treatment nurses were stationed to keep 5th graders safe and healthy as they enjoyed the game! A huge shoutout to all of our elementary nurses for planning and preparing action plans to get ready for a safe, fun day!

Kooser became Lincoln Public Schools' first Heart Safe School on May 16th! The announcement was made during a special celebration through Project ADAM. LPS School Nurses play an integral part of planning drills and teaching CPR, we look forward to more Heart Safe Schools! ❤️

LPS Health Offices have free and accessible period products in all Health Offices. Middle Schools and High Schools have self-care stations with products available.

Spring is approaching, along with outdoor activities and possible injuries! If your student is injured outside of school, please notify the Health Office and provide a doctor's note with necessary accommodations (including wraps, boots, splints, crutches, etc.). Happy Spring!
