REGIONAL CHAMPS!! LadyCavs defeat Sycamore 3-0 to win the Regional Championship. Taylor Vescogni threw a 1 hit shutout striking out 12 & 0 walks. Addie Piecha drove in all 3 runs with a single & double. Vescogni singled and doubled. Kelsey Frederick singled. So proud of this team

Not sure how I missed this, but this season Anna Riva became the all time homerun leader with what now stands at 18. This season Anna surpassed former leaders Maddie Pangricic, Ava Lambert, and Kaitlyn Gibson who each hit 11 home runs. CONGRATULATIONS ANNA. VERY PROUD OF YOU!!

Game 2 on Saturday was a 3-1 loss to Metamora. Taylor Vescogni went the distance giving up only an unearned run while allowing 3 hits and striking out 13. Karmen Piano had a single, homerun and an RBI.
