Happy Birthday, Dr. Uduakobong Peter Udoh @UduakUdoh001, His Excellency and our Leader! What a young, handsome, intelligent and dynamic personality!
You've been a humble, listening and respectful leader.
Part of the recent conversations we've had was about how you would build companies using government funds, then privatize it and allow the hosting LGAs as well as citizens to take shares in it. By that you'd be empowering Akwaibomites

In the same vein, in another ward where the Candidate of the LP is at Obot Akara LGA, AKISIEC officer arrived without result entry sheet. We need to really rethink democracy. This is totally unacceptable!
LGA Chairmanship elections ongoing, and at Abiakpo Ikot Abasi Inyang in Obot Akara LGA, AKISIEC officers arrived with fake ballots? Where are the originals, please?

I urge our leaders to bury the rent-seeking mentality in politics and pursue a people oriented programs that would lift many out of poverty. Repositioning Akwa Ibom as a destination for investors is sacrosanct. We must find innovative solutions to our lingering challenges.

On this great day of our birth as a State, I call on all Akwaibomites to put hands together to build. Ask questions, hold your leaders accountable, and let your voices be heard. Let's work for and develop the Akwa Ibom that works for all, not a few.

My campaign blueprint as a Governorship Candidate was centered around poverty alleviation; human capital development, critical infrastructure, food and security. This, I believe every responsible government should prioritize and pursue. We can do better for our people.

The National Bureau of Statistics puts the number of multi-dimensionally poor people in our State at 72%, meaning over 5 million out of the 7.2 million people and barely tagging along. This does not reflect the abundance of resources and the allocation we receive monthly.

and develop. We have done 37 years under different governments. We have tried as a state to position ourselves for national and international recognition. Akwa Ibom is a beauty destination even though tainted by the level of poverty which may look paradoxical.
