Fun fact, I didn’t even want to tour @FordhamNYC, but my parents made me, so whoever said your parents know best, might be on to something.

I joined the #NYR beat for @wfuvsports as the ‘EBUG’ last season, and now I’m wrapping up my 1st full season on the beat.

Interviewing players is awesome, the goalie fight was pretty cool, but the highlights are getting to meet people I’ve looked up to like fellow Ram @jaygeemsg.

And thank you so much to the wonderful @michellegingras for giving me this opportunity!

Rangers fan to Rangers fans, we have it the best with @MSGNetworks!

[Brett A.M. @BrettAM84]

I haven’t had to suffer league average goaltending in my adult life and I fucking hate it.

Asked Braden Schneider about the encouragement to Garand entering in a tough spot:

“I think he’s been great. I don’t think there’s any worries. I think tonight he came in and did what he could. We got to make sure we are a little better in front of him.”

Here’s Schneider on cleaning it up for the #NYR goaltenders and looking to defend home ice for this stretch. ⬇️

Mike Sullivan on the #NYR goaltending situation: “Let’s just acknowledge we’re in a difficult circumstance.”

He mentioned starting Reimer this quickly was his fault and that it wasn’t fair to put him in that situation this quickly.

He also praised Garand for his compete tonight.

#NYR GOAL!

Kartye with a wicked wrist shot.

5-3, 3:52 to go.

At what point do we deem this game could get interesting?

[Lydia Pirner @LPirner]

Dorofeyev off the post for #NYR, who have an empty net with 5:00 to go.

Someone needs to tell me how many posts he has hit as a Ranger. This is wild.

[Lydia Pirner @LPirner]

Albert Smits is going off for interference. Mike Sullivan didn't look to thrilled about that one.

#NYR to the kill down 5-2, 1:58 3P.

[Lydia Pirner @LPirner]

Noah Laba is going off for roughing. He went to finish his check on Perry but it was deemed a rough.

#GoKingsGo PP up 5-2, 18:53 2P.

[Lydia Pirner @LPirner]

#NYR POWER PLAY GOAL!

Adam Fox wrist shot for his 1st goal and 17th point of the season.

Nice little first bump from him to see one go in.

5-2 #GoKingsGo, 13:05 2P.

[Lydia Pirner @LPirner]

#NYR get their 1st power play of the night. Dumoulin for slashing.

#GoKingsGo lead 5-1, 12:40 2P.

[Lydia Pirner @LPirner]

Doughty and Miller were fighting for position in front of the net and both are going off for holding. 4 on 4.

#GoKingsGo lead #NYR 5-1, 8:10 2P.

[Lydia Pirner @LPirner]

Goaltender interference challenge successful by #NYR. 5 goal deficit is now only 4.

[Lydia Pirner @LPirner]

Another #NYR tribute to Duguay aswell as his family getting an ovation at the end.

[Lydia Pirner @LPirner]

The #NYR tribute to Ron Duguay.

[Lydia Pirner @LPirner]

#GoKingsGo power play goal.

Who but Artemi Panarin.

#NYR now trail 4-1, 1:30 2P.

[Lydia Pirner @LPirner]

Schneider is going off for interference.

His stick blew up on him and he took the body to prevent the #GoKingsGo player from going the other way. It's called a trip.

#NYR down 3-1, 1:16 2P.

[Lydia Pirner @LPirner]

Dylan Garand is in net for #NYR for the 2nd.

[Lydia Pirner @LPirner]

3-1 #GoKingsGo after 1.

#NYR playing with their road defensive structure tonight, not what we have seen from them at home.

It is still early at least.

[Lydia Pirner @LPirner]

#GoKingsGo goal.

Drew Doughty from the point through traffic. That Panarin line for the kings was just passing around the Zibanejad line in the offensive zone.

A bit of a dagger to the Rangers who had been pressing a bit.

#NYR trail 3-1, 17:32 1P.
