@JamieRaynor@BBCSounds@mbows23@Hudsonweather Interesting what you said about the Touray, Wright, Pointon linkup vs PNE
I think most would agree our 3 best performances last season were Huddersfield, Cardiff, Peterborough.
What did our left side look like in those 3 games 👀
@SHD_Backup Of our contracted CBs he’s the only 1 to have performed consistently well. He will want redemption!
2011/12 Andrew Davies getting stupidly sent off in the Crawley brawl. I thought we’d be relegated after that. He became my favourite player in the history makers side #bcafc
@pideson@DMAC102@BenoitStevenson@theposh@BBCCambsSport Appears to be more intentional. I think GA has referenced previously how he’s changed philosophy (yet some people call him ‘stubborn’).
At CB perhaps we’ve just been unfortunate with injuries and he’s backing us not to be for the rest of the season given the window.
@DMAC102@BenoitStevenson@theposh@BBCCambsSport Be interesting to get the pod thoughts on all of City’s chopping and changing (particularly at CB) @pideson. GA came to the club with a don’t change a winning team mentality and has very much moved away from it.
@dannym97@__AdamWilliams If I was Cook I’d see out the contract. Opportunity to write the final chapter with important cameos/goals and someone in L2/NL will still take him on next season.
Could definitely see him reunite with Hughes at Carlisle next season.
@TheWidthofaPost More outs than ins and push the boat out on a bit of quality. Humphrys can be worked on as a CF and has played well but the opportunity is there this season and we can't wait to develop him.
Someone like Matty Stevens at Wimbledon who has been the best CF we've come up against.
@TheWidthofaPost An overreaction. Every team has irreplaceable players. Arsenal can't keep a clean sheet whenever Gabriel/Saliba get injured. We have a reasonable squad to replace the majority but Walker/Baldwin/Sarce/Pointon we can't replace. The latter 3 have missed games
@JamieRaynor@BBCSounds@Hudsonweather@mbows23@BBCWYS Alternative Cook view; didn’t make an impact but his last sub outing he ‘changed the game’. Hudson’s point ‘finished 3rd without him’ should be caveated with he played without Sarce/BP/AP. Record with Sarce here (small sample)…
Deserves a chance to claim the shirt at #bcafc?
#bcafc fans this was always the plan & the player is clear. He’s not here to play the Cook role it’s a ‘plan B’ (or A) managers get criticism for not having.
Barnsley fans will say he’s better off the left because they compare it to him as a target man. That isn’t the plan 🍎 🍊
@BantamBradford @Will_BCAFC_ I assume we are also currently entitled to compensation and if he signs a 1 year extension this wouldn’t be the case next year.
@BuzbyBcafc There are flaws to XG- the same chance for Cook is the same XG as Kav. A goal scored that is a 0.01 XG may be misleading for finishing ability.
I’m a City fan- low expertise on L1/2 footballers so unsure if it’s a good signing but the above is encouraging.
#bcafc signing Swan :
Goals / minute
24/25: 7 @ 1/ 347 mins
23/24: 9 @ 1 / 172 mins
22/23: 10 @ 1 /135 mins
XG:
24/25: 7 from 4.5 XG
23/24: 9 from 7.43 XG
22/23 10 from 7.9 XG
Outperforms his XG and a good goals / min ratio when in a side creating chances

Supposedly one of England’s finest cricketers, first name on the Lords honours boards and some character to boot rests in an unmarked grave. Can you spare any money to get him a headstone?
(Also buy the book out next month)
