We are excited to announce our biggest project yet - the Muhammad Khalifa Cup.
The community tournament will take place on July 26th at the SDFL pitches in Clondalkin. There'll be 5-a-side, music, food, drinks, and more. Let's use football to bring people together in solidarity!

The first ever Muhammad Khalifa Cup took place on July 26th 2025 and was a huge success!
20 teams and over 200 people were involved in a long day of sport, solidarity and fun. At times it was chaotic and disorganised, and there's lots we'll do differently next time, but we
4/ There were interesting talks and stalls from @RedPhoenixDub and @Sport4Palestine which we hugely appreciate! Also a massive thank you to @Food_Not_Bombs_ Dublin for the huge amount of curry and rice that they doled out, and which we received nothing but good feedback on!
The tournament is named in honour of a young Palestinian footballer and former visitor to Shamrock Rovers, who was killed in the Gaza genocide alongside seven members of his family.

On March 2nd we took to the streets with a large group of Rovers fans against racism and the far right.
