Fishing Club had a gorgeous day at Island Beach State Park for the Governors Surf Fishing tournament. Shane caught a 27 1/2 inch striped bass. Ryan had a bigger one but we lost it in the wash. Lost a big bluefish too right at the end. Lots of dogfish caught.
Kindergarten students at Robert Erskine School drew original monster creations and Ms. Haftek's and Ms. Gawron's CORE/Art Mod students brought them to life through sculpture and paint. Seeing the kindergartners meet their monsters was magical! A wonderful creative collaboration!
