🥳Congratulations to @TheGeoFight_com for officially entering the big leagues. Politico just published a lengthy piece on their work, and while it leans hard into the usual “conspiracy theory” framing, the real story is hard to miss: they are now treated as a serious enough force that a former Trump advisor is publicly worrying about their impact on the White House.

The most revealing line comes from George David Banks, a former Trump energy advisor and open supporter of solar geoengineering research:

“These guys are first movers in a sense. If these guys are halfway successful, I think it’s going to open the door to others.”

That is not the language of dismissal. That is the language of someone who understands the ground is shifting. Banks expressed concern that the president could embrace the anti-geoengineering arguments of @TuckerCarlson @mtgreenee and The GeoFight.

Politico frames their concerns as “unfounded assertions” and “deep suspicions among conspiracy theorists.” Yet the same federal agencies they cite have already acknowledged that aircraft emissions create man-made clouds that trap radiative heat, private companies in this space have raised tens of millions, lobbied Congress and open-air testing is moving forward.

What the article actually confirms is that The GeoFight is forcing a conversation many would prefer to keep closed. When the opposition starts warning that they might “open the door” for others, it means the Overton window is already shifting open.

And of course, like countless 501(c)(3)s, The GeoFight accept donations to fund litigation. It’s transparent, entirely standard, and shouldn’t even be part of the conversation. Meanwhile, Politico is a for-profit media company that sells advertising, sponsorships, and high-priced subscriptions.

The fight continues.
