Last week was #Entomophagy week at @LaurusRyecroft - the practice of eating insects! Students got to try a range of edible insects from @eatgrubofficial including BBQ crickets, honey locusts, and cricket flour chocolate cake. Bugs are nutritious and surprisingly tasty!🦗🪱

Over the last few weeks our Y10s have been cooking salmon dishes with salmon generously provided by @AlaskaSeafooduk as part of the Fish Hero's project @heroesFish. Students cooked Salmon En'Croute & Honey & Soy Glazed Salmon dishes. Thanks for supporting @LaurusRyecroft

Last week was British Game Week @LaurusRyecroft. To celebrate this, we taste-tested some healthy & sustainable British Game meat. Y10 tried smoked venison & pheasant; other year groups also tried rabbit. Thanks to @barony_foods for helping us source this for our students.
