the Canucks have only won 7 of their first 10 games four other times in franchise history, so I decided to take a look at each of those teams and compare them against this year’s Canucks

When Luc Bourdon signed his first pro contract, he made an anonymous donation of $10,000 to his local minor hockey association, specifying that the funds be used to buy equipment for youth in the community who could not afford it.

Pictured below is Basil Odjick, grandfather of late Canucks enforcer Gino Odjick. Basil fought in France during WWII and was killed in a skirmish with SS troops following the liberation of Paris. There is a memorial that bears his name in the village of St. Ouen-de-Tilleul.
