Year 7s took part in the 1% club quiz tonight. Lots of pupils came down to the library after school to compete in various multiple choice questions, which progressed in difficulty. Well done to all that took part!
Nationally, this week is maths week and this evening we held a maths competition for year 7 pupils. Well done to all pupils that took part and Hermes who won 🏆
This evening, our year 8s took part in a ‘Maths Escape Room’. The teams competed against each other solving various puzzles to try and unlock the padlocks in various rooms. Well done to 🏆 Athena 🥈 Demeter and 🥉 Artemis we hope you enjoy your prizes! @lythamhigh
Well done to our year 9 and 10s who competed in @LUSoM_ maths challenge. Both teams worked together and completed lots of maths questions. One of our teams managed to secure 3rd place! 🥉

Well done to our pupils in year 7 and 8 who we took to @LUSoM_ to compete in a maths competition. There were various fun rounds involving different skills! Unfortunately, we didn’t defend our title but we did really well with both teams giving 100%! @lythamhigh

After solving many Easter related problems the tie for winning place was won by Lytham Hall Park with Heyhouses second.
Everyone ate lots of sweets and chocolate and we wish everyone a Happy Easter Break.

An Egg - static time was had by Year 5 Pupils from Heyhouses, Mayfield, Ansdell and Lytham Hall Park Primary schools who came to LSA for the Easter Maths Challenge on Monday 18th March.

Happy International Pi day! Our KS3 classes had an interesting lesson on pi today. There were various facts, pi jokes, dingbats and fun activities! 🥧 #InternationalPiDay
@lythamhigh had @BlackpoolSixth come into school to deliver a maths lesson to our top set year 11s. Both classes really enjoyed the session and were left thinking about this problem!
