Listen Share Change is a Peace IV funded programme delivered in partnership by the Housing Executive and Verbal. The project uses Verbal’s Reading Rooms model.
The Listen Share Change Team are saddened by the sudden passing of a past facilitator who was a dedicated volunteer. We would like to pass our condolences to their family and community group.
The LSC team are shocked and saddened by the recent news. Kaja was a dedicated Reading Rooms facilitator in 2019 and a pleasure to know. Thoughts go out to her friends and family and the Clonard Mid Shankill ladies group at this sad time.
We are absolutely devastated @Brown_OConnor at the passing of our friend and colleague @KajaChoma She really was part of our team and will be dearly missed. She has been been part of our success and a brilliant person and it’s very hard believe this has happened.
The @nihecommunity & @LSCVerbal#EUFunded, #PEACEIV Listen, Share, Change project is using the Shared Reading programme is tackling isolation & loneliness during lockdown.
To date, it has benefitted 1,379 participants & successfully adapted its services during the pandemic⬇️
The team at LSC and Verbal would like to wish our volunteer Fatima for her continued support and dedication. Fatima is on her way home to Nigeria, after a long time away from her Family and Friends.
Thank you💚 🇳🇬

Today @rvra_limavady - took their Reading Room - Reading Friends to the beautiful Roe Valley country Park! I don't think they could have picked a better location for Tea and Story sharing with friends.
Where would you take your Reading Room?
