In the meantime, if any of you know Japanese, are willing to work for free, and aren't scared of Kansai-ben, then our DMs are always open. We're only interested in human-made translations, you'd have to translate a 10~15 minute clip by ear before getting the transcriptions. (4/4)

A small update on how we've been doing lately:

- Like every long-running GCCX group before us, we've also been hit by the bad case of Real Life.
- We're working on two episodes, one of them is a super text-heavy horror game. Both of them will be out when they're out. (1/4)

One of our members has fully transcribed several episodes (by ear, no AI). It allowed us to keep a consistent schedule in the past by making the actual translation process easier, and ideally, it should help us pick up the pace. And no, we're not planning to MTL them. (3/4)

@CurleeDrew96877 On PCs, the easiest way to play MKV files properly is to use a video player such as MPC-HC, MPV, or VLC . I don't think the PS5's video player can display the subs properly.

We've started working on this sub after the Switch 2 version got announced, to give you an idea of our current workflow and general availability. As funny as it would be to do the SF64 two-parter (yes, two-parter) next, it would actually take us at least 2 to 3 months to finish.

Parappa, Densha de Go or the GBA versions of Phoenix Wright & EarthBound were done before their generational bans were lifted.

What's funny is that Tokimeki Memorial and Mario 64 weren't even 10 years old when they shot their challenges back in 2005 or so. That would be like doing the Super Mario Odyssey challenge this year.

@LSKachoSubs Haven't kept up with GCCX in a long time. If they're considering Wii/PS3, I imagine they already did PS1/PS2 challenges. Am I right?

I honestly question how fun would a Wii/PS3 challenge be. Mostly because by that gen games were a lot easier and also a lot longer.
