He didn’t know big words.
He didn’t understand the language of humans—no “thank you,” no “I love you,” no long explanations.
And yet, somehow… he said everything.
It was just an ordinary day. The kind of day people usually forget. But for him, it was special. Because someone had come back home.
The moment the door opened, his ears lifted, his tail began to wag like it had been waiting all day just for this moment. And then came that smile—not forced, not taught, not practiced… just pure.
A smile that carried relief.
A smile that carried love.
A smile that quietly whispered, “You came back… that’s enough for me.”
He didn’t ask how the day went.
He didn’t complain about being left alone.
He didn’t expect anything in return.
He just looked up—with those shining eyes and that innocent grin—as if to say,
“Thank you… for being my world.”
And in that one moment, something magical happened.
All the stress, all the noise, all the chaos of the outside world… disappeared.
Because sometimes, gratitude doesn’t need words.
Sometimes, love doesn’t need explanation.
Sometimes…
a smile says everything.

Normally, I do not comment on Supreme Court judgements and only those who have a case can speak. But if a judgement is given against voiceless animals, then one has to raise their voice.
The court order is not practical, it is inhuman. Who will decide whether a stray dog is dangerous and it should be administered the death injection?
I feel, the court order will open up the gates of atrocities on voiceless stray dogs. Animal activist Menaka Gandhi's suggestion is right. If the State wants to lower the number of stray dogs, there should be a massive sterilization and vaccination drive for such homeless animals.
I would rather prefer the apex court to direct all state governments to start this on a war footing. https://t.co/Ig3seXU8Pf
Is INDIA now a barbaric nation then?? SHAME ON YOU … DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS … You are only going to polarise society .. DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE the anger of the pro animal groups. FAILED to stop the corruption in ABC ? So kill the innocent souls then. Karma will not spare you … AND NEITHER WILL THE ELECTORATE
The AWBI, ABC department, and local animal welfare authorities should be shut down in India if they are unable to implement ABC rules and make them mandatory across every society, gram panchayat, and local community.
Every day, residents are fighting and abusing each other in the name of human and animal safety. The laws for both animal and human safety already exist within our legal framework what we need to demand is their strict implementation.
We must stop targeting innocent animals and our neighbors, and start directing our questions to the right departments. If a department fails to implement the rules that already exist, it should be closed down immediately. If the general public is always forced to find its own way and take existing laws into its own hands, then it is better to dissolve these ineffective departments and authorities altogether.

🚨 MOB LYNCHING SITUATION AT MAHAGUN MYWOODS, NOIDA 🚨
Yesterday, a horrifying incident took place at Mahagun Mywoods. A mob of **100+ residents** cornered, misbehaved, and violently targeted a resident over community dogs.
When a few volunteers including Simran, Renu, Sakshi, Shilpa, and myself arrived to support her and stand up against illegal relocation and animal cruelty, the mob turned on us.
The verbal abuse hurled at our female volunteers by this "so-called educated society" was vile and disgusting:
* *"Bacha chor"* (Child thieves)
* *"Tumhara character hi aisa hai"*
* *"Jao kutton ke sath so jao"*
Is this the definition of a modern, educated society? Is this what we teach our families? The mob went so far that they even abused the police officers who arrived on the scene. Thankfully, the police rescued us from what could have easily turned into a fatal mob lynching.
The Hypocrisy of the "Safety" Argument
I have a simple question for residents and RWAs: If cruelty and illegal relocation are the solutions, why hasn't human-animal conflict been solved anywhere in decades?
Societies keep breaking the law in the name of safety, yet the problem persists. Why? Because basic biology dictates that when you illegally relocate a dog, you create a territorial vacuum and cause extreme trauma, making animals anxious and aggressive.
Illegal relocation INCREASES dog bites.
As volunteers, we NEVER justify dog bites. That is precisely why we spend our own time and money implementing Animal Birth Control (ABC) rules, vaccinating, and feeding them at designated spots to keep residents safe.
### Facts Over Fear
* At Mahagun Mywoods, there are **0 recorded dog bite cases**.
* 15+ community dogs stand fully vaccinated and sterilized as per official records.
* The local authorities tried to reason with the residents, but the mob chose violence over the law.
The fear of dog bites is valid, but the solution is never cruelty. The solution is compliance with the law. The Constitution and the ABC Rules were framed after years of expert discussion for the betterment of the nation. Yet, RWAs and AOAs refuse to implement the law, choosing chaotic vigilantism instead.
A Wake-Up Call to the Silent Majority
To every pet parent, feeder, and neutral resident staying silent because you "don't want to get involved": Your silence today will become a threat to your own family tomorrow.
I am not asking you to support anything wrong. I am asking you to stand by your Constitution. The law is the only shield that protects us all
Our problem is neither the residents nor the dogs the problem is the failure to implement the rules.
I will soon be demanding a formal meeting with the Noida Authority to push for mandatory, strict implementation of ABC rules in every single residential society to ensure peace and safety for all.
If you stand with the law and against mob violence, drop a 👍 and retweet this.

Feeders show up because they care about the voiceless, some people go to the temple everyday and pray to god, we go to feed everyday that is how we pray to God, should they have to be discriminated against for something as simple as feeding a hungry being.

You don’t need wealth or endless resources to be compassionate. All you need is a heart filled with kindness.
Look at this man despite being disabled in many ways, he still chooses to share his food with a sweet little puppy. No excuses, no complaints… just pure humanity.
If he can find a way to give, what’s stopping us?
Compassion is not about what we have, it’s about who we are.

The data is clear, blunt, and inconvenient for the outrage industry. The Lancet, a peer-reviewed medical journal, reports a 75% decline in rabies deaths in India over 20 years, alongside a two-thirds reduction in dog bite incidence. This is not anecdotal. This is rigorous epidemiological fact.
This dramatic success is a testament to systemic public health interventions, not magic or luck:
- Extensive anti-rabies vaccination programs for dogs across urban and rural areas.
- Improved access to Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) for humans, making treatment available at primary health centers.
- Targeted awareness campaigns educating communities on bite prevention and first aid.
- Better integration of veterinary and human public health systems.
These are hard-won gains, the result of consistent, often unheralded, work by countless professionals. This is the result of selfless volunteering services of millions of dog feeders. It's a victory of science and sustained effort over disease.
So, when the Supreme Court deliberates on policies concerning community animals, the foundation *must* be this scientific evidence. To base policy on amplified media narratives or emotional appeals, ignoring a proven track record of decline, is a dereliction of evidence-based governance. It undermines the very systems that achieved this success.
We have a working model. The solution is to support it, not dismantle it based on manufactured fear. 🔬

His name is Raj Shukla.
He works as a broker in Lucknow and, under the pretext of showing a flat to the wife of an army officer in Eldeco City (Indigo City area) on IIM Road, he molested and assaulted her.
The woman informed her husband, who is an officer in the army, about the incident. The officer, who returned from leave seven days later, beat up the accused man.

They are most likely not 400+ years old nor are they fully blind - that figure for age comes from a dubious carbon dating procedure not generally considered appropriate for dating the age of animals due to lack of precision at relatively small timespans
This information is SO GHASTLY, I'm not sure how to react to it.
@indSupremeCourt does this not bother you? What message are you sending to the public, more importantly, to young girls and their mothers? 'Beti Bhachao Beti Padhao'-for what? To watch them get rap#d and killed?
