@ktboldy We used to have bread, with a slice of cheese and then cooked bacon on top, put under a broiler as long as needed to melt the cheese - a variation I guess! Haven’t had one in forever!
@ktboldy “But Chris comes first…” This comes through in every word you write. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. I thought of you and Chris today. The Queen Mary 2 visited us in Boston today, docking not too far from my house. Loved seeing her red smokestack. Take care!
@ktboldy Hello from Boston Massachusetts - Chris you look so lovely in that dress. The colors are perfect for you. Your shoes and handbag are quite smart too. Hope your eye feels better soon - such a bother when they weep a bit. Take care.
@ktboldy What a lovely, perfect day! The roofers came, the pub was enjoyable, and your wonderful optician took care of you and Chris. Love when days work themselves out like this.
@sallyacb275@thomas_embleton I did all the medical trips with her but that is also a valuable service for those of us who are carers for elderly family members. Sounds like a great possibility for you.
@sallyacb275@thomas_embleton Sally: your post came across my page today. I’m in Boston Massachusetts. Lost my Mom at 102, after 3 years of employing home aides for her. My favorites were the ones who would sit and listen to her stories as she ate. Cleaning is a bonus!!
@jennyrozelle I was assisting a relative with the arrangements. Contacted the cemetery where we have some family plots. At first I was told the plot I had in mind was full. Then I mentioned the relative would be cremated and the person kindly said she thought they could make room!
@cdbrew@218res1@brownecfm Exactly the same experience! Had 3 MRNA with 2 days of side effects including a high fever. Switched to Novavax - no side effects!
@ritter_fischer@SarahBurris CNN reported today that she was waiting-listed at Harvard and was not accepted at Boston College. She was accepted at Providence College and the University of Chicago - have not heard which she chose.
@Variety Check out a young Matthew Rhys in the final Columbo episode (from 2003) -“Columbo Likes the Nightlife”. He was terrific - and spoke with his accent.
