Our team played a key role in making Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) funding accessible to Louisiana's rural communities. This year, 11 towns with less than 5,000 residents received over $13 million to improve pedestrian infrastructure: https://t.co/XsKB2ItsNr
In the previous application cycle, only 2 communities with less than 5,000 residents applied. One withdrew and one was ineligible. This year, 10 out of the 12 communities that attended our Rural Complete Streets Summit in 2022 submitted successful TAP applications.
