This spring, one of Mike the Tiger's caretakers Baylee Weems graduates from LSU reflecting on the unforgettable bond she built with Mike, the memories she’ll carry forever and the experience that changed her life. 💜💛
I haven’t found the words to adequately express my feelings about this fiasco. But, as usual, Scott does a pretty fine job summing up the issue.
She. Was. Robbed. Period.
Catering to casual fans? You mean the million plus that tuned in to help set a new record for this same network? That’s more than casual. Time to go back to the Magic 8 Ball for a new excuse. How about, “we’re sorry this happened and we will work to fix it before next season.”
ESPN is defending its NCAA gymnastics coverage after public criticism from Minnesota.
The Golden Gophers blasted the network on social media for not showing enough of the team’s routines compared to others. ESPN told FOS that the coverage was aimed at catering to casual fans.
Happy to see these numbers. Now add 20 minutes to the meet and air every routine. Not 70% of them. You wouldn’t show 6 innings of the College World Series. Or skip a set of volleyball. Let’s fix this.
Thanks for your support. We competed in 16 meets this year. In only one of them (Saturday), our fans weren’t able to see every routine.
Since they weren’t on the broadcast, our social team wasn’t able to clip them and put them on social either.
Our friends and families are hosting watching parties at their homes or restaurants. They want to watch the main broadcast and not sit with their side tablet on a separate stream they had to pay for.
This is so easily fixable. We were in third place after the Four on the Floor third rotation. Just like we were in third place in the regional semis, regional finals and national semifinals before coming back to get second.
Good thing those broadcasts didn’t give up on us, would’ve missed one heck of a show.
She’s one of my all-time favs. Pardon the pun, but @AshleyCowan16 raised the bar on that it means to be a @LSUGym Tiger. I can’t wait to see what life brings you!
Yep. Lincoln’s and Torrez’s FX were a key difference in the end. One was much closer to a 10.0 and the other a 9.85. One was early in the meet and the other was last.
Clean, confident beam wins. @LSUgym with everything in the windshield. But don’t forget about the Lincoln floor in rotation one versus OU floor anchor in rotation four.

Some really, really good floor routines for @LSUgym to start the championship. Sadly, Lincoln’s routine scores higher later in the meet. Just watch. Tigers in the hunt, though, after 1.
Set a record with 12 total gym meets called this season. Wrapping up 2026 today in lowkey fashion but with @LSUgym in the heart. Just go take it, Tigers. #NCAAGym
