Teenage Girls Sexually Assaulted In Nottingham City Centre, Police Launch Manhunt.
In a shocking late-night attack that has left parents terrified and residents demanding answers, two teenage girls were sexually assaulted in a narrow alleyway in Norfolk Place, off Long Row, Old Market Square, just after 11pm on Thursday, June 4, 2026.
Police cordoned off the scene as forensic teams moved in and a heavy presence remained the next day.
Detective Inspector Beth Sheard said: "We know these incidents are very concerning and we are doing everything we can to investigate these reports." She urged anyone with information to contact police on 101, quoting incident 879.
Nottinghamshire Police have released no description of the suspect, no age, clothing, ethnicity, accent or direction of travel. The silence has triggered anger and frustration among locals who ask why basic details are being withheld.
Nottingham has been an asylum seeker dispersal city since 2002, housing hundreds under the Home Office scheme. Critics argue the rapid placement of claimants, often without proper vetting or integration, has added to rising crime and tension in the city.
Many residents now fear that these government policies are directly putting young women and girls at risk in Nottingham, where the historic Old Market Square has increasingly become a no-go area after dark.
Police are urging witnesses who were around Norfolk Place at 11pm on June 4 to come forward immediately.

This government can’t have it both ways.
If a State Pension is being classed as a benefit then it should not be used as part of your tax allowance as benefits are non taxable.
They told you the planet is dying… and you’re the problem.
Your food.
Your habits.
Your existence.
Meanwhile, behind closed doors, something else is growing.
AI data centres in the UK alone could pump out 123 million tonnes of carbon emissions — the equivalent of millions of human lives over a decade.
But where’s the outrage?
Instead, they blame cows… tax farmers… and squeeze the people who actually feed you.
While tech giants expand quietly… signing deals… building systems that never sleep… and never get questioned.
Different rules.
Different targets.
Same script.
So let me ask you…
Why are everyday people being punished…
while the biggest emitters keep getting rewarded?
Is this really about saving the planet…
or controlling who pays the price?
Drop your thoughts below — I want to hear what you think.
And if this made you stop and think for even a second… share it.
More people need to see this.

Keir Starmer: “My first duty, the duty above everything else, is to keep our people safe”
Reality:

Safe for who exactly??
Imagine being remanded in custody for pushing a wheely bin towards police but being let off after repeatedly punching and breaking a policewomans nose.
Now imagine our PM trying to convince us that there's not two tier policing.

Welcome to my veg garden its coming along nicely again 👌🏻 I only started this 5 years ago to take up some space in my garden and it’s got bigger every year the satisfaction I get from seeing something grow from seed I’ve nurtured for I can’t explain 🤦♂️ it’s crazy I never thought I’d be green fingered and actually enjoy it but its actually very therapeutic and keeps me out of trouble. @zatzi You do know this is all being done on purpose, don't you? They need to destroy the UK and its Economy so they can bring in their One World Government and rejoin the EU.
THEY KNEW HENRY WAS BLEEDING FROM HIS MOUTH AND THEY STILL HANDCUFFED HIM, THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO TREAT INJURIES FIRST. @HantsPolice ABSOLUTE DISGRACE HANTS POLICE 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
So it turns out the 999 call that was released wasn't the full call. This is the full call which is 12 minutes long, the version that was released had a lot of bits taken out. Now why would they do that 🤔. Notice the emphasis on it being an attack on a brown person and they want immediate action. Also the mention that they were restraining Henry. The call handler also says that an ambulance is on its way due to Henry bleeding from his mouth. I've had to share it in 3 parts as it wont let me share the full length version. Part 1 👇
A staggering 7 to 8 billion solar panels have been deployed globally—but up to 90% of them are currently on a direct trajectory toward disposal.
While modern solar panels are technically made of roughly 95% recyclable materials (glass, aluminum, copper, and silicon), recycling currently runs at a steep economic loss.
* The cost: Processing runs $500–$1,000 per tonne ($10 to $40 per panel).
* The yield: The value of recovered materials doesn't even cover the transport fees.
Compared with minimal landfill fees, economics dictate that burial is the default option. But the world is rapidly running out of room, and governments are beginning to panic.
We are already seeing a preview of this crisis in the wind sector, where an expected 43 million tonnes of turbine blade waste by 2050 has led several European nations—including Austria, Germany, Finland, and the Netherlands—to actively ban decommissioned blades from landfills.
Solar is hitting the same wall. Panels built over two decades ago are reaching the end of their 20-to-24-year lifespans, while many more become economically obsolete and are replaced long before that.
This has created a massive regulatory catch-22: To prevent heavy metals like lead and cadmium from potentially leaching into groundwater, jurisdictions like Victoria, Australia, have implemented strict bans on putting solar panels into landfills, classifying them as hazardous e-waste.
Yet, with recycling remaining economically non-viable, we are creating an impossible bottleneck. While industry bodies like the IEA maintain that leaching risks from broken panels are negligible and within safety limits, the sheer volume of impending waste tells a different story.
If it costs too much to recycle, and it is illegal to landfill, where do several billions of panels go?
The 'clean energy' solution is rapidly staring down the barrel of a multi-generational hazardous waste problem.
