Anubhav Khanduri is a film maker from Uttarkhand who approached me some time ago to do a podcast explaining the Battle of Nuranang (also known as Jaswantgarh), the battle honour earned in NEFA in 1962 by my unit 4 Garh Rif, a unit raised by my father in 1959, and also commanded by me.

Anubhav being a Garhwali himself, is mindful of the fact that the story of Jaswantgarh has been manipulated in different directions to suit all kinds of narratives. Even as the Battalion  attempts to correct some, Anubhav decided to come to me for a clarification. Delays occurred due to my commitments and move to Patna. Finally we did a generic podcast on a walk the talk format around the garden of Lok Bhavan Patna. 28 minutes on Jaswantgarh explaining and revealing the truth as recorded in the Regimental History Vol 3. The balance of the podcast is a generic one on life in the Army. My wife joins for the last 15 minutes or so.
