As part of Mental Health Awareness Week, our team met up with their pets and took part in a peer-2-pier walk for their mental health. Walking and talking about your mental health helps break down stigmas and create an accepting society where people feel comfortable opening up.
Mental Health Awareness Week, MHAW, is an annual event to raise awareness of the importance of mental health, taking place this year from 15th-21st May 2023.
Our 2023 theme is all about ‘Anxiety’. Anxiety has become one of the most talked about topics in mental health.
It’s good to talk!
We were delighted to have our friends from @LS_Mind join us at our home game yesterday afternoon. The team helped sell 50/50 tickets and spoke to many fans around the ground.
A simple message - if you’re in need, don’t be afraid to reach out and talk.
