The hate on Red Dead Redemption 2's first chapter will never make sense to me.

A 2 hour extremely dense prologue, it introduces all the important characters, their feuds and arcs. The first mission is an incredible introduction to Arthur, Dutch, Micah and Sadie. Leading right into the return of John Marston with an awesome wolves chase, then you get a hunting tutorial, then a mission dedicated to clearing out an entire hideout of O'Driscolls which all concludes with an awesome train heist. And then you get one of the most gorgeous sequences I have ever played with riding down the mountain to Horseshoe Overlook, beginning Chapter 2.

Yet, somehow, Chapter 1 is always called boring and a low point, I am convinced critics of it have extremely short attention spans. RDR2's Chapter 1 is one of the most cinematic, captivating and fun prologues I have played.

The ONLY time I understand criticisms for this chapter, is when talking about replays. I get that revisiting this chapter on a replay is tedious as you already know all the story stuff, but for a first playthrough? You have to have 0 attention span to not be able to allow it to cook. The only mission I'd remove from it is the hunting tutorial, as the mechanic is explained later in Hosea's legendary bear hunting mission again. But aside from that, flawless prologue.

Parece una tontería, pero mira lo que cambia sin ese fundido a negro.

A no ser que Rockstar me esté preparando para cuando tenga cataratas, no me convence.

Seguro no es así de normal, y para ratos está curioso con gafas puestas y eso, pero para todo el rato no porfa.
