Yesterday @GrabowskiKelli and I had the pleasure of working with regional teachers in exploring the NYS Science Investigations! This fabulous group dug deep to better implement these learning experiences for students and share their experiences to the benefit of all!

Today I had the opportunity to tour the #esports facility at @sunyjcc - what great opportunities for students!

The Innovation Center is an exciting place this afternoon!

Students are working hard creating their own board games using MANY of our tools & equipment, including wood working tools, 3D printers, & the large scale printer!

We also have students making scrunchies!

Students in grades 6-8 enjoyed a STEAM presentation from Jeremy Slawson and Lauren Biddle from @Siemens_Energy!

Students heard about their recent travels to Egypt for the company, saw photos/videos of the pyramids, & learned about their jobs in a STEAM field!

Some of the GV STEAM crew spent the day at @StBonaventure at the @QuickArtsCenter learning how to use the laser engraver from Mr. Sean Conklin! He taught tricks in @photoshop & we even engraved our designs!

It’s STEAM In the Library Week!

Todays highlight is 1st Grade who read Snowflake Bentley & created their own snowflakes using marshmallows!

HS volunteers noticed a multi-tiered creation saying, “Wow! Great job adding support to the bottom to make it nice & strong!”
