Statement from the @UofAlabama , presumedly about Aden Holloway.
“The University is aware of the allegations and is working to gather more information. The student has been removed from campus pending further investigation by the UA Office of Student Conduct.”
Our crews worked overnight to restore power to more than 27,000 customers after yesterday's storms.
The threat of severe weather isn’t completely over yet. Western parts of Alabama could see more storms today, and the active weather pattern may bring another round later this week.
This time of year can bring quickly changing conditions, with warm and cold temperatures creating the perfect setup for strong storms.
Our teams remain ready and on call, and we encourage you to stay weather aware.

🌳 Keeping power reliable in a state that’s 70% forested takes teamwork and expertise. Our arborists lead vegetation management efforts, carefully trimming and maintaining trees near power lines. Their work balances safety and efficiency — protecting communities, maintaining reliability, and helping trees and power lines coexist safely.
