The amount of dross I'm seeing and hearing about Chris Powell "not doing enough" is unreal.
What is it people, who don't watch him working all week, want to see him doing at 3pm on a Saturday?
@george12413051 Could be bs but apparently we enquired late last week. They don't want to sell, so he played at the weekend. We've gone in with strong offer.
Second hand info and I'm not ITK.
Fucking shit cunts in charge fumbled the easiest profit making signing but mismanaged him and expected magic out of nowhere. Send the nukes send the missiles administration liquidation we need to suffer more clearly. I am so done with this team
π¨π€ Oxford United have reached an agreement with Luton for Christ Makosso.
The Congolese centre-back will join the Championship side on loan until the end of the season with an option to buy.
Medicals to follow, then contract signing.
However, of JW's 2 additions, Palmer also mentioned being closer to family. And Lawrence clearly doesn't have the stones for L1.
Where are the leaders and warriors? If Kal Naismith is Wilshere's idea of one then that says it all.
JW is right about problems within the club culture. Lots of players coming for an easy ride. Walters and Jones both cited family being local as a reason for signing - and they've barely played (lots of family time for them no doubt).
@lutontownST@kevshat Invite Sweet on to the pod. If he declines or ignores, empty chair him.
We need answers. Few months ago, he said managers at this club drive recruitment. That doesn't tally with what JW said about D. Cole, so has it changed? If so why?
Or is he so inexperienced that he can't see what is obvious and can't control himself from picking such feeble lineups with such poor game plans away from home?
And don't get me started on Sweet. Sick of it all. 2 years of shite.
Rant time....
The piece by piece tearing apart of everything Nathan Jones put in place at this club has been staggering to watch unfold.
We never had the most technical players, but we had those with physical and mental attributes to make up for that.
JW said he would try to reinstate what makes Luton Luton and that he'd want to evolve to a more footballing philosophy slightly over a longer period of time, not trying too much too soon. Was he lying?
